This highly interactive module addresses why effective communication is important and it develops participants’ knowledge of effective leadership communication. Quest has a number of instruments, cases, and simulations for assessing participants’ communication styles and the match within an individual company. Behaviors which enhance/impair effective communication are explored and skills to change non-productive into productive communication are emphasized. A simulation involving verbal and non-verbal communication is employed to reinforce clear communication principles. Participants experience appropriate simulations, exercises, and practice sessions similar to everyday work situations.

The generation of younger workers brings new challenges to the workplace such as dress codes, work style and company loyalty. Companies are struggling with how to manage the younger generation. Their characteristics and needs are dramatically different from the workforce of the past. This workshop will address many of the challenges facing companies regarding younger workers.
